Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions set out the terms and conditions agreed between you (‘’You,
‘’Your’’) and The Playful Performer’s Club. (‘’we’’, ‘’our’’, ‘’us’’) in relation to the registration and attendance of the child (or children) (‘’participant’’) whom you have registered for a Playful Performer’s Club. All participant information must be completed in full and must be correct at the time of registration. It is your responsibility to ensure that we have a contact number for you (or the participants parent or guardian if this is not you) in case of emergency at any time during the After School Club. If you are not the participant's parent or guardian, You confirm that You have made such parent or guardian fully aware of this registration and these terms and conditions (and that they have agreed to them in full).
1. Booking and payment
1.1. All bookings and payments must be made in full, by the start of the first class. Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received. Paid for spaces will be given priority.
1.2. Playful Performer’s Club do not accept payment by voucher, cash or cheque.
1.3. Customers can register on a waiting list if the club is full. If a place becomes available the parent/guardian of the first child on the waiting list will be contacted and offered the available place. The place will be reserved for that child for two days. If there has been no communication from the parent/guardian, the available place will be offered to the second child on the waiting list and so on.
2. Notice, Credit or Cancel
2.1. Credit can be applied when canceling/notice is given 1 week in advance. We don't issue refunds for missed sessions due to your own circumstances.
2.2. Credit will be applied to the following term’s 10 week block booking.
2.3. Credit is limited to 2 classes in a 10 week Block, for purposes of the child’s involvement in the club.
2.4. To cancel your child’s place and receive a full refund you must inform us by email at least 14 days before the start date of the club.
3. Collection personnel:
3.1. Only the parent/guardian and other named collectors on the collection form can collect the named child.
3.2. Unless otherwise given a permission allowing Year 5 & 6 Students to walk home, it will be expected that they will be collected.
3.3. If someone else is to collect the child, the parent/guardian should call and email the Playful Performer’s as soon as possible with the details of the temporary allocated collector i.e. full name and phone number.
4. Food:
4.1. The Playful Performer’s Club will not be providing food at the club. However should I child bring snacks, please be sure that the correct food allergies have been filled out on the medical form.
4.2. Occasionally we may give out treats/prizes, please be sure to note if your child is not allowed these items.
5. Insurance:
5.1. The Playful Performer’s Club has up to date Public Liability Insurance for a teacher or voice coach engaged in the teaching of performing arts.
6. Health policy:
6.1. The Playful Performer’s Club requires that all children who are ill or infectious are to be kept at home.
7. First aid:
7.1. In the event of an accident, first aid will be administered to the child in our care by the designated first aider and the emergency services will be called if necessary.
7.2. Any specific medication that needs to be administered needs to be disclosed on the medical form. The Playful Performer’s Club will then consult with the parent regarding the arrangements. You must declare all medical conditions during registration and keep us up-to-date should this change by emailing/calling us.
7.3. Any emergency medicines should be communicated to the club via phone call and confirmed in email to complete an emergency medication form and training must be given.
8. Photography and video:
8.1. We occasionally take photographs/videos of children for child and parental feedback and rehearsal purposes and material for shows. You must declare if you do not want your child to be photographed for marketing use, and keep us up-to-date should this change using the given email address or phone number.
9. Mobile phones and electronic devices:
9.1. All electronic devices (e.g. iPads, Nintendo DS, etc.) are prohibited at our after school club.
9.2. If you wish for your child to carry a mobile phone and they are seen using it inappropriately, the instructor will confiscate it until the end of that session.
9.3. The Playful Performer’s Club will not take any responsibility for the damage or loss of any electronic devices that are brought into the after school club.
10. Equal opportunities and child protection:
10.1. The Playful Performer’s Club is an equal opportunities company and welcomes all children regardless of their gender, ability, race or religion.
10.2 We operate a zero tolerance policy on discrimination or bullying of any kind.
10.2 All instructors have an enhanced DBS check.
11. Behaviour:
11.1 Playful Performer’s Club reserves the right to remove from our programme, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving or displaying disruptive behaviour.
12. Child exclusion:
12.1. On rare occasions, if a child proves incompatible with the general well-being of after school clubs (e.g. they are involved in bullying or are engaged in disruptive or aggressive behaviour) we reserve the right to exclude them. Please only enroll children who will agree to our behaviour and respect policies to eliminate this possibility. No refund will be made for any remaining after school club sessions booked.
13. Data protection:
13.1. We will use your details to contact you via email, mail or text with important information about your booking and/or future information about our services.
13.2. We do not share any of your personal information with external agencies.
14. Parent feedback:
14.1. Playful Performer’s Club will occasionally ask for feedback.
14.2 Concerns should be raised initially with the instructor at the after school club. If you have concerns or suggestions, please tell us. We value your feedback and use it to develop and improve our services.
